Some resources for musicians

I'm not sure how many of you are musicians or would like to be, but there is a free online resource that I use every week for worship that some of you might be interested in. All of the worship songs that we use at new life as well as many others are kept on a online database at www.praisetools.com. Use the login name of "harvest" and the password "lakeside" and there will be about 500 songs at your disposal with all their chord charts and lyrics. Praisetools also does automatic key transpositions if you go to the "print a song" link on the left side of the page. Play around with it, hope it helps.

Also, if you're interested in increasing your knowledge of music/music theory you are welcome to come to the church at the end of our band practices from 8:20-9:00pm on Monday nights. We will be covering transposition, chord anatomy, and music theory application.

For some of you, I'm sure you would prefer to be tarred and feathered than come to a class about music theory...but for those of you with some musical experience it's a valuable tool to have.
